Idiocracy

It seems a lot of people thought this movie was hilarious. Me, I thought it was good, it had some funny points, but most of all, it was just really scary, and I was somewhat depressed afterwards.
The below video basically sums up the scary part, and I commend anyone who makes an attempt to change things, point out what seems obvious to some but leaves others unconcerned.
What made me wonder is.. if someone with a low IQ watches this movie, will it cross their mind to better themselves afterwards, or will they just laugh really hard at the stupid things? So, I went to YouTube to see... and there people have added clips from the movie, calling a scene from the future, which is supposed to show just how dumb the society has become, really funny.
