Here are several images that are more than “just” great photographs. No posing, no Photoshop work, just the art of capturing the perfect moment, resulting in utterly unforgettable photographs.

Mahó Beach, St. Maarten. Photograph by Kent Miller
Landing at Princess Juliana International Airport, a looming 747 thrills visitors on Mahó beach, a famous plane-watching spot.
“a famous plane-watching spot”, guess why!
“Capturing the right moment” is of course, in one way or another, important for almost any photograph.
But you’ve got to admit, there is more to it in these shots…

Hood River, Oregon. Photograph by Tyler Roemer
A kayaker places one of her last strokes off Celestial Falls in Oregon.
That’s the official photo caption: “One of her last strokes”… I think someone should have reworded that.

Bathing Parrot. Photograph by Cesar Badilla
During a boat trip across the Gulf of Papagayo, this parrot decided that he couldn’t stand the heat of the Guanacaste summer and decided to take a bath.
All I can say is, what a very cool moment to have a camera nearby!

Small muffin, big thief, cool camera moment!

Reach out and touch me. The one is all action, the other is all “maybe later”.
They are amazing.
